I am in the midst of a career change and will graduate in December. My issue is regarding education/GPA. Seventeen years ago, as a college freshman, my GPA was simply not good. I then hired into a pretty solid company (manufacturing)but continued to take some classes. My GPA after the job was 3.7.
Fast forward 13 years. I was downsized and transferred to another university to finish what amounts to my final three years. My GPA is 4.0 and I hope it stays there.
I've composed my resume with only my graduating university. I will obviously have my transcripts during my interviews and in no way am I trying to hide the facts. I'm simply trying to convey the type of accountant I will be, as opposed to what I would've been 17 years ago.
Am I on the right track or will this be perceived as sneaky? |
