is really a stretch to put on your resume if you haven't qualified to sit for the exam, registered to take the exams, or passed parts of the exam.
Maybe some wouldn't care, but if I saw that on a resume where there wasn't any of those things I would be put off. |

For someone starting out, it makes no sense to talk about the CPA so soon. I was just trying to give an example, in case one absolutely had to say something about it. With two thirds of the accounting credits to sit for the CPA and one third to finish up next year, I stressed on my CV that I will be eligible to sit upon graduation --that's it. Fact is, the guy has to start taking classes and worrying about these details when he has a few courses under his belt, not now. I remember when I went up to KPMG at a career fair, with six credits in acctg. and a few business classes to my name. The girl practically laughed at me.
