I'll just offer a brief commentary here...if you want to do finance, don't do audit.
Since you're still in college you can try and leverage the KPMG internship into a finance full-time offer (one friend did that...PwC-->Goldman.) There are many different finance jobs out there as well, that you could probably land if you're proactive about it.
If you want to do finance, don't waste time doing something else, you won't be happy auditing. |

Thanks to both of you, that was real helpful.
Funds & Investments don't sound so hot anymore, because I want to get a better understanding of the whole picture, not just work on portfolios all day.
Thanks for the tip about switching to finance, but I don't think I want to do that yet. I do want the audit experience and think it will be helpful down the road. I'm just learning about Finance in school right now and it seems interesting, but I'm not sure of the different career paths yet, and don't want to stick to that route.
Well, it's just an internship. I think I can decide on what to go with after I've had some more experience with different industries.
