I'm considering getting a Macc degree but I'm interested in I-banking and not accounting. I've heard that 7% of the Macc graduates go into I-banking but is the Macc degree useful enough for me to spend a year getting the degree? I'm afraid the Macc degree will be too accounting-focused and too technical. Any advise please? |

Well, it IS an accounting-focused graduate degree.
How much of IB do you think is accounting-centric? Not much, I'd say. That 7% figure is probably almost coincidental, rather than causal. IB is going to require experience, for the most part, more than additional degrees.
