I work in Big 4 - had a 3.8 in MS Accounting program. I think 3.3 is as low as you can go, but GPA is certainly not the only factor. |

GPA matters, they will ask if less than 3.4 or so, but don't dwell on it too much.
The most important thing for getting into the big 4 is networking. They are big on hiring friends of people who already work there. be really pro-active and talk to the recruiters, ask them about open houses and office tours; call, don't email. Join a student group on campus, I'm sure your school has an acct club or BAP or something were you can meet and interact with peers. Its always good to have people to bounce idead off of (hence why we are all on this website).
Final note: be a confidant public speaker. t=There are tons of 4.0 GPA kids who have the communication skills of a nervous 3rd grader. I have seen them passed by the best firms because of that too. Take a speech class or get a jop that requires a lot or communication in order to strengthen this area.
