What are the prospects of it? I am not that interested in the trading side due to risk/stress involved, and am more into getting a steady income. |

I am also interest in working as an internal accounting at an investment bank. I just graduated with a Masters in accounting, passed both the CPA amd CMA/CFM exams and I will be going on an interview for an accounting analyst position at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. I'm turned off by the big four accounting firms but I am also concerned that I will be losing out on crucial experience by not working in public accounting. Does anyone know if you can get good accounting experience working at an I-bank or the FED as an accountant analyst?
