Here is the scoop with the BIG FIVE.
Arthur Andersen has a great training program - good technlogy but they work long hours and are very intense people. The problem here is the ongoing battle with Andersen Consulting. As it looks now AA will lose in arbitration. The AA name is gettting a little tainted.
KPMG - internally they are so messed up - they were once the biggest and now what - they stink. Massive internal problems - low pay - you name it. Terrible branding - many people have not even heard of them.
PWC - some good people. Good clients - long hours - many internal problems due to the merger. I guess we will see what happens. Do not reccomend it.
THE TWO BEST BIG FIVE ARE D&T and EY.
Pay is good - hours are reasonable. EY had better technology and resources but DT throws better parties. These are the two to work for
