It depends on the person whether he allows himself to be pimped. Experience is really great for the Big Four Firm, I know that I am still a Senior but it's very fulfilling. I may be some of the few who had that patience needed in auditing industry but it is worth the time I spend with the experience and money that I have. We may say that work sucks sometimes, but we fail to realize the knowledge we gained in auditing that client. We need to focus and try to see the bright side of life. Sometimes, it is really difficult to work more than 10 hours a day, but the fulfillment that we have in being able to give our clients valued advice and quality service is something that we should be proud of. Indeed, prestige is part of it and I know a lot of people wanted that. We can only share what we have, thus, the knowledge that we gain from the Big four firm will definitely help us in any endeavor that we have. Discipline and patience is learned in this industry. I think, those are one of the few things that we gain in these organizations. Partners gain much, that obvious, but they deserve that. I am constantly striving to climb the ladder and I am proud to say that opportunity exists. I should have never got my CIA, CFSA designations if I know that it wouldn't help me, but proving yourself to the company will definitely make you shine. If we encounter problems and get frustrated, those are ordinary experiences, what we need to do is stand up, correct the mistakes and learn from it, then develop ourselves to be recognized again sa reliable team member or leader. I know it sounds idealistic, but there is no lame excuse not to try. We will not be given problems that we can't be able to solve.

Eugene, I appreciate the support. But, I gotta admit, that post was drenched in Kool-Aid.
You make it sound like you just get kicked in the baseballs every day, and get up smiling with hope in your eyes.
Yes, it's a winning attitude for personal success in an advers environment, so it sounds like you'll do well.
Maybe it was just the timing...
