wow senor, your a miserable guy. I was just looking for some advice from some "experienced" accountants. Whats your background "kid"? Since you know it all, lets hear your true advice on accounting. Sounds like your pretty miserable if you ask me. I was just looking for information/advice and was explaining my interests honestly....no need to take your anger out on people on these boards. |

He didnt seem angry, he was telling you what he knew and that is what you were asking for...
On that note, I work at a Private firm as an intern right now and what I have experienced is 40 hr work weeks, at your desk, with great people who have all "done their time" as they say. This firm is 10,000+ and very reputable in the industry.
However, all my co-workers are at least 35 with kids my age so it has been difficult to enjoy other activities with them.
On another note, Big 4 will provide great experience and give you a lot more options of industry to work in becuase of all the clients you will interact with.
