I am a May 05 graduate. I am very eager to enter the profession of public accounting. The only problem is that I graduated with a low gpa. My overall was a 2.41 and my major gpa was 2.6. Is this going to restrict my career prospects? I have job experience in bookeeping and good references. I want desperately to get into a small to medium sized accounting firm. Will my gpa hinder me from opportunities in this sector? Any advice is appreciated.
