How can a first-year audit associate without audit background benefit your department from first days at work? |

1. Make sure you kiss your senior's ass and fulfill all of his ego needs; look forward to being shat on by the client - remember to smile!
2. Get coffee and bagels once in awhile for everyone, and make sure you leave your self esteem at home.
3. Make incomprehensible checklists and giant piles of meaningless workpapers with client signatures all over them. The more incomprehensible and complicated the better. So rather than thinking you don't know what you are doing - the senior thinks you might know more than they do.
