Ive been working at one of the large pharmas in the finance dep for a few years now and this is the most cut throat, greedy,competitive self absorbed group of people Ive ever met in my life. Is this the nature of the beast or is it just my company?
There is no training becasue no one wats anyone lse to know more than them. The managers are only out for themselves and dont help develop there people. It seems some of them will stoop at nothing to get ahead.
I feel like Im different than these people. Theres no teamwork, just jealousy and backstabbing.
I really do like to work as a team and I feel as a department we should stick together and succeded as a group.
Im the only one that feels that way. No one in this group can be trusted. I mentioned the charity wotrk I do and they looked at me like I had two heads.
Am I just completely naive? Should I find another field?
