Hi all. Of course my goal is to land a big four audit position and I need a little advice. I graduated with great grades from a not-hot school last June with a B.S. in accounting. I have passed 2 parts of the CPA exam and I am awaiting results on the other two parts (I have enough credits to test b/c I also have a B.S. in Biology). I thought passing the exam would help me make up for my so-so school, but now that it????s getting to job search time I????m a bit worried. I have 4 years experience in a quality control department of a biotech company. I plan on submitting my resume through web sites. I know what people say about that, but recruiters did not come to my school so I think it????s my best option. Do you think that there is any hope for me getting an interview? Since I have experience, although not in audit, should I put my resume in the experience section or the entry level, or maybe both? I know it may seem like no brainier, but I thought maybe if I submitted it to both it may filter faster to the right hands. What do you think? Will it get kicked out if I put it in both baskets? Any help would be appreciated
