In Reply To: Your question has appeared many times on this board. I, for one, have been waiting to answer that question myself. The responses people have given me have varied. Some say that there is no chance that the Big 4 will take you, as they prefer younger people to shape at their will. On the other hand, I have heard stories of people getting in later in life and even making it to partner. I believe it depends on the demand the firms have and who is hiring. I met someone at a Big 4 who used to be in my shoes and who got me an interview, which in turn I declined. A few months ago, a man from the Univ. of Phoenix told everyone about his interview at PWC. It all boils down to circumstances, but for sure, the odds are greater for a youngster. Good luck and check back in here when the recruiting season starts again.
Message: Not that we are old, but you know what I mean.
