I have the choice of interning at Deloitte or Ernst and Young. (Deloitte tax and E&Y audit.) Which one of the two firms is the better option? Also, is there a consensus as to which firm in the Big 4 is the best in terms of pay, culture, benefits, etc? It seems like the most popular board here is PWC. Why? |

I do not work for a big four- however I have done consulting for two of them. And have place indiv. at each one at some point. In my experience and in order I would have to say 1. PWC 2.Deloitte 3. ENY
PWC all around has the best culture, people, happiest employees. Deloitte falls short because they promise and don't deliver many times.
ENY- over work their employees- you learn alot here but you will have no life for at least two years. Two years is what you need in public for it to mean anything. If you can handle working 75 hours a week most times, very difficult to grow internally- you will walk a way (if you decide to)with a incredible work ethic and a lot of knowledge. They are all short handed right now but ENY continues to give them more hours.PWC and Deloitte have more of a work life balance. Hands down, PWC. ENY lowest in pay, Deloitte best in pay. PWC in the middle.
