Hi
I know it is against most firms' policies to allow side jobs that involve tax prep., audit work, consulting, etc. If they catch you down the line, they can sue you for any income you may have earned from it.
That said, I do not think they review your tax returns or anything like that. Although theyre background checks are pretty extensive, so who knows. Hope this helps
