I have just recently attended a California Society of CPA new member orientation meeting.
I learn a few things about PWC that really disturb me. One member I spoke to, who works with PWC says that if I am a foreign graduate, I have to talk to a recruiter face to face so that PWC will know that I speak English.
I told this story to a friend who confirmed this.????Additionally, She offered that US graduates may be hired after attending only a single interview, while a foreign graduates are customarily requested to undergo up to four interviews by various personnel staffers.
I was under the impression that PWC was considered to be internationally focused firm with a global outlook. How can this be said to be the case given the following indisputable facts:
1. Standards in foreign schools are actually higher than US many US Schools.
2. Foreign graduates are more
hardworking than US graduates.

Why shouldn't the U.S. arm of an international company screen foreign candidates to ensure that they speak english clearly?
I'm a us graduate and I and everyone I know who interviewed with PwC, had to undergo at least 4 interviews.
You shouldn't make broad sweeping generalizations about US schools and US graduates. I'm not going to sit here and argue your "indisputable" facts but "foreign" represents a rather large group outside the U.S.
Why would you want to work in the US anyways, if I were you, I'd stay in your "foreign" country with its more qualified harderworking citizens.
(note: i do not work for PwC)
