1) How much would the BIG 4 pay for 1st year auditing in Philadelphia, NY, LA,Chicago.
2) I was wondering, how much would the salary be after taxation in philadelphia ? and living Expenses? How much money goes in to ones pocket.

Well I have 3 years of IT experience as a systems admin. I quit my job and went back to school for 2 years full time to finish up my BBA in accounting. I graduate in Aug. 2004 and I already have a job with Grant Thornton. They offered me $55k plus annual bonus. I'm coming in as a senior Associate. I think this is great considering I will be doing something I have never done before. I'll be doing internal , IT and Sarbanes Oxley 404 audits. l also have an interview with IBM next week. They are flying me up to NY.
