When do the Big 4 start hiring? |

I'm graduating in December of this year. As the Big 4 do not come to my campus, I'm not sure when to apply for a full time position. Should I contact the recruiter now or wait until the beginning of the fall semester (Sept.).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hurry up. In the fall, they do come to campuses but they go over the resumes in the summer so that by fall they have already selected whom they want to see.
Try to find the name of the recruitment specialist and send a nice cover letter and a resume. Follow up in a few days with a phone calls saying I am such and such and I wonder whether you have received my resume. Don't write in the cover letter that you are familiar with many aspects of accounting as some of the candidates I have seen, at this point, they are looking more for enthusiasm rather than specific skills.
