Not to get too personal or off topic, but do you mind if I ask how much you started at? I'm really trying to get a feel for starting salaries before I make a decision on a Macc. |

It depends on what office you will be working out of. I'm not sure about the mid-market firms, but I know all the big 4 firms pay pretty much the same. First year associate can make between 40K-55K
Regarding MACC, it doesn't matter if you have it or just have 150 hours. They will pay you the same. Although ceteris paribus I believe that they would hire the Macc student over the 150-hr student.
Either way, 150 or a MACC you are doing one extra year of school. In my mind having both a bachelors and a masters in 5 years looks better than a bachelors degree (w/150) in 5 years. Plus it may help in B-school applications down the road.
