In Reply To: Dear Shaendra (and Leo Aug), Thank you so much for replying. I will keep you posted on any new wise cracks this guy puts forth. I am surprised your school has a different cost for its MBA courses; or maybe my school is the exception. Well, the career expo begins ten days from now. I want to see for myself how the folks at these firms interact with or react to someone with "age issues." Do you have a clue as to how many credit hours would be suitable to get an internship? Uhm, I better put some cream on those wrinkles and that grey hair before walkin' in. By the way, in what region are you? ;)
Message: Well, our internship program interviews take place in what's essentially the Spring semester of the junior year. This is when students are in Intermediate II. We are required to have completed Advanced I before the internship, and have finished 75 hours... those interviews happen a year in advance. Everywhere I've looked grad school costs more than undergrad, on a per-credit-hour basis. I'm at a university in the general Houston area. I've submitted my resume for intern consideration, and hope to hear back about whether they want to interview me within a couple weeks. Final word on a yes/no is supposed to happen by Spring Break. I'll let you know what comes of the whole thing :)
