I have been with ACN for 5 years, and while I have mostly enjoyed my time, I have recently thought about moving on.
After putting my "feelers" out there, winds up I have an offer from another consulting firm making approximately $12,000/yr. Also, this firm will pay $5,000 for grad school.
I'm thinking of taking the offer and would like some insight on to what is the best way to leave ACN without burning bridges?
Also, does ACN counter-offer, and if they do, is it worth it take it with the assumption that you'll always be known as the guy who was looking for another job.

Give at least 2 weeks notice. Hand off your projects in a professional manner.
Dont bad mouth the company during your last two weeks.
Dont bad mouth the company in your exit interview.
Never say anything really negative.
Youll surely get a "rehirable" status.
Congrats on the new job.
I know they are waay underpaying here in Services, But does the same holding true on the line side?
