It would very nice if everyone made it to the top. I'm not here to tell you that if you join Accenture you will make Partner/Senior Executive. But outside of actually owning your own business (check out the failure rates on that if you want), Accenture still has a great entrepreneurial model.
It is no secret that the consulting workforce is 'up or out'. But regardless of how far you progress within Accenture, chances are you will be fairly successful in your life after Accenture. |

What do the following statements mean? Does Accenture fire people for not getting promoted after a certain amount of time? At most companies, one who doesn't care about climbing the corp ladder can still do a good job without getting promoted or fired.
"Back in the old Andersen Consulting days, there were MANY more partners and managers. You just had to stick around long enough to become one, these days Accenture counsels out a lot of people as they get to the top."
