Accenture does this all the time. They want to get good people for a cheap price, this is part of their strategy. I'd say that if you are coming in at the analyst or consultant level, odds are you will likely take a pay cut. |

Only an idiot would take on a consulting gig for a paycut. Or maybe you like long hours and being on the road all of the time. If they are offering you a paycut, it is obvious they don't want you that badly. So be it. Get over it. I have never taken a consulting gig for less than a 20% raise. So I think the pay is quite good at ACN.
