In Services you can move up to management.
Where did you get that from?
It's not Consulting managers leading Services folks. One of my best friends last year got promoted to Level B or Manager in Consulting WF. |

That guy has everything backwards. It's in services where you have the better opportunity to move into management. In "consulting" (which isn't really consulting at all, let's face it), you may get a title with the phrase "manager" in it, but even by the time you get into a even a junior management role (M4 or higher), most of your supervisory experience has been a follow-the-dots auto-pilot kind of administrative role. More like a project expeditor or coordinator, not much of a driver or mover of the project.
A lot of people in services join ACN from industry so, unlike all those young "I grew up with the 'firm'" employees, a lot of the services staff have actual experience, including management experience.
Has everyone at ACN swallowed some kind of hallucinogenic milkshake or something? Why does it seem that everyone around here are escapees from the Bizarro world?
