I am an analyst joining the gbs group and i will be traveling a lot I would like to know if you have any tips for traveling (i.e getting platinum status for airlines/hotels). I am planning on using my personnel card instead of the corporate, is that alright? |

You are supposed to use your corporate card. After you use your personal card for awhile you will probably get a warning from payroll and expenses that your corporate card is to be used for all corporate expenses.
Sign up for all of the frequent traveler programs, even if you are only going to stay at a certain hotel once, it adds up in the end.
Also, try to always carry-on...checking bags is a pain. If you carry on you can just check-in online beforehand and avoid a lot of lines.
