It is not a bad company right out of college. If you are not sure what you want to do then this is the company to join. But it is not worth staying too long. Once you are an experience consultant or manager then leave. Otherwise if you stick around longer than that you might as well just stay. Do remember that on the average everyone agrees that they are underpaid in this CO. due to the long hours and travel. Some people see travel as a benefit others see it as a deterrent. So it all depends on whom you talk to in the CO. Overall it is not a bad company to build experience, but as a career to me (and this is my opinion) it is not worth staying. Pay isn't as great and due to the quick pace sometimes there is a lack of professionalism. I guess that is what you get when people are overworked, underpaid and promoted when they might not be ready yet. |

There seems to be conflicting opinions on the pay at ACC. You say that it's a good company to start off with but the pay sucks ... while others say that due to the nature of the consultant field and travel, the pay is actually good. Is this just a variation issue depending on the company segment and experience ? I mean ACC has to offer something to retain talent, right ?
