In Reply To: Hello: I just got an offer for the Business Intelligence group out of Southern California. I think it's a technology solutions workforce. It's 60K, no mention of any bonuses. I have 3 years of exp out of college doing a bit of .net and sql at a mortgage lender. Is this a fair offer?
Message: I would say that offer is great for Solutions Workfore here. Do remember that .NET is becoming more and more popular. Not too many people know that technology as well so in some places you might be able to get more. If you really know your .NET and SQL you might be able to get more somewhere else, etc. As for ACN this is probably a great offer. Solutions workforce does not tend to pay well and they may get abused in some projects. They are expected to be very technical and some mgrs, cons may pile on a lot of technical work on their plates. Although I don't personally view them any different, I get the impression that some people in ACN do see them as sort of a lower class. I have also seen a few solutions workforce people who like their work, so it all depends on the project and region. But for the most part, I think some just work here build up experience and leave due to the hours and pay.
