Starting with Accenture soon.
If I'm placed on a long-term project that I have absolutely no interest in, is there any way I can get out of it? Is there any way I could request a certain industry sector or function of business at least?
I know Accenture expects their starting analysts to be go-getters and take on anything that's given to them, but I'd like to get into the right niche early on. THANKS |

If you talk with your career counselor you can get out of projects you are not interested in. Just tell your career counselor what you said in your post.
Also - if you listed skills in your ACN resume that you have no interest in (i.e. MS Access, Crystal Reports, etc.) then REMOVE THEM NOW. Only list and rate the skills that you are interested in working with.
