Hello everyone ( Stopnik and all),
I just got an offer from ACN. I have about 9 years prior IT experience ( QA, Development etc) and they want to bring me in as a Consultant + 18 months - Base 90,000. Is it a good offer, with all the travel. I am in my early thirties.

managers and team leads younger than you. I'm also an experienced hire(10yrs IT/defense), and my salary is excellent! As long as you can grit your teeth and deal with leadership or peers that are 10 years your junior, I say go for it. It has been and still is a big adjustment for me. First, be mindful that the social politics play a big role in how you move up the ladder.
Second, be sure to learn the ACN business model, it will be key as an experienced consultant. Third, try and develope a relationship with a partners that have age on them and those that did not start out with accenture, they have been lifesavors for me.
