Consulting is a wonderful career so long as the travel doesn't get to you. It has kind of dragged me down. But the job has treated me very well. The good thing about getting some "big firm" experience is that it will open lots of doors. I have worked for big and small firms -- and have done some incredible things. Now that I have kids - I have changed, not the job. ACN has a goofy culture, but don't let that influence you. Don't know of any consulting firm that doesn't have something goofy about it. |

I agree with stopnik (and by the way he is very helpful to everyone) that you got a very good offer, but why not go ahead and interview with Deloitte? I would recommend you do that, that way you can have 2 offers to evaluate from.
stopnik: what do you think newest one's bill code might be coming in that high of a salary? will it affect him getting his first project?
