Almost 8 years experience - most outside of Accenture (18 month veteran). I earn around $130k a year. I was hired in with 6 years consulting experience. Since I jumped firms, I moved up really quickly hence came in at a higher level.
Raises can "average" 8 to 10% per year - but they can go much higher and much lower depending on your performance, project, leadership, etc. Overall, you won't be too upset with raises. I think they are good. Same with bonuses. Lots of variables go into play. Not sure what BPM team does. Assume lots of process work - mapping processes, best practices, etc. Should be cool. Figure 3-4 years to make SrMgr.
You are in the upper end of pay given your age. Good place to be. Shows they want you. Be proud! |

Thanks stopnik, I have been reading some of your other posts and you have definitely helped to prepare me if I accept the offer with accenture. I was told by my recruiter that with 12 months credit it should take about 2 years to get to senior manager due to up or out culture...is that not true?
Also from reading some of your other posts it seems as though managers do not have as much management responsibilities as was told to me by my recruiter. Is that not true? What typically is the role of a manager with 12 months credit on the project team?
Finally, I was wondering what group are you aligned with/type of projects you work on? Do you have a graduate degree...just based on your experience it seems as though you may just be a couple of years older than me. Any thoughts on Deloitte vs. Accenture for what I was hired for?
