I am a May '05 grad currently working in financial services. I was just recently contacted by HR to do a phone screen.
What are my chances? Will I come in at the same level as '06 Grads and start after they graduate? or would I start sooner as (barely) "Experienced"? |

First of all, it doesn't matter if you are an '04, grad, an '05 grad or an '06 grad. In any of those cases you'd have "barely any experience" until you are actually working at a job for at least 3 or 4 years and you move from the entry-level period of your career to the junior level.
The good news for you is that the less experience you have, the better you will look to Accenture. Accenture doesn't respect outside experience so don't sweat it.
Now I think you are looking at this as if this is just the next level of school. It's not. It's not like people who started 6 or 7 months before you are a "semester" ahead of you or have already completed more classes. It's just a job. You won't be doing anything much different in the first 8 months here as in the second 8 months. So don't worry about it. Do your 2 or 3 years here, get some buzzwords on your resume, build some solid computer programming or other IT skills, then move on. That's the usual way it works.
Good luck.
