I am the top student in a top 5 engineering college in the UK and I *chose* to join Accenture's Global Technology Consulting group (GTC/GACT).
ACN provides for a more rounded career than straight engineering or software development.
Again I stress in my career my emphasis is going to be on technology, not business - so for me this is an excellent choice. |

How do you know that? Did some recruiter tell you that? Did you read some PR stuff off of ACN's website? Did someone you know with weeks and weeks of experience at ACN tell you that?
. . . or are you just developing wishful thinking based on your hope that you made the right job choice for your first job out of college?
You certainly can't know the reality of ACN if you haven't worked there.
