The "dude" doesn't want OT for spending time on this board. He wants OT time for spending time doing work for the client.
In fact, if he doesn't have time for a couple of personal minutes during the week to do stuff like reading a message board, going to the bathroom, talking to his Mom once a week, and eating lunch, then something is TERRIBLY wrong. . . and you know what? Something IS very terribly wrong if you thought you were getting a job with a consulting firm and you wake up one morning and realize you were deceived and that, instead, you are working for ACN as an IT slave.
