Accenture does not receive any money to operate Avanade. Microsoft did make an initial investment to get Avaande up and running. Avanade operates independently from Accenture and has been growing steadily the past few years.
Avanade hasn't had any layoffs since the Tech Bubble burst back around 2001. |

I realize that i probably should not have reffered to avanade as a department, but it does operate very similarly to accenture and has been known to share resources with accenture in the past.
I don't know why you think I am a troll, I knew some higher ups who used to be at Avanade, and they constantly described it as a puppet company for Microsoft. And I have repeatedly heard that things were not going well there for a while because Microsoft was not providing as much "support" (money, software, hardware) as they used to. I haven't heard much about what's going on there in the past few months, but I do know that Avanade has laid people off in the past 2 years. But I'm sure that this is just like Accenture, where they don't like to EVER admit that they laid anyone off, rather they prefer to say that they were "counseled out".
Continuing to believe the lies and stories around here from managers and senior execs will get you no where. You have to find the truth on your own.
