I worked for the company for 7 years. I saw some very unethical things while I was there and would not recommend this company to anyone. They market very inexperienced people to their clients as experts. Usually after as little as 1 or 2 weeks of training they send people out as "experts". They have canned a lot of US workers and replaced them with Indian cheap labor. And developed a whole new workforce (ATS) to cut costs further. It is an ok place for someone straight out of college, because you'll gain some experience but for the most part they pay terrible. And I even recall in 2002, that they reduced salaries and gave no annual increase. Bottom line, the company is top heavy with managers that knowingly over charge clients and ghost hours of their employees. It's completely unethical. And it takes a miracle or a really key connection to a partner to them to even notice that you work there. Don't expect much in the way of promotions or annual increases. This is the kiddy land of consulting firms and as soon as people start demanding market value pay, they layoff, and hire in a new crop of fresh faced naive college grads that are enamored with the name Accenture and willingly give free hours to the company. And so the cycle continues. Avoid this company at all costs. |

Went from "High Sustained" A2 salary to consultant with "Outstanding" rating, and received a 30% rise.
I wasn't an experienced hire though, so my A2 salary was in line with most others in the UK.
