In Reply To: exactly. gogophs is right. The guy who doesn't want to be on an IT project, should either read more of the vault, and less what the website or commercials says. Even the so called strategy, or supply chain, or human performance guys still do work 'related' to something IT related. It may be business process oriented, but the end result is something related to 'information techology'. There is no real way to get around that. But, I am not really surprised, because this is an attitude with a lot of new graduates. If this company is not a fit or you realize that the work we do is not something you expected, then fine. That is what you should understand. If you understand, and are willing to have an open mind, then great, because 50% of the folks do that. But, Just do some basic basic basic basic research on the company. It will take all of 10 minutes.
Message: Why hire someone with no IT-background to do application development or software maintenace, for example? Just doesn't make sense to me.
