Thank you for sharing your experiences here.
My only concern is that I have no realtime SAP BW experience. I have a few years of data warehousing/mining experience on legacy systems.Evey posting I see for SAP BW requires atleast 2 years/Lifecycle experience .
Can you please let me know what my stratergy should be in addition to aggressively projecting my skills to the recruiter.
Also can you please let me know how much would the BW roles pay for my kind of experience.

Indeed, 2+ years hands-on is a very common requirement. I have less than a year w/BW, but at least I have that, and 2+ on R/3.
But you can still leverage your DW experience and BW cert. with one of the Big 4.
Expect $60K or less with your experience.
