Good afternoon,
I am trying to relocate from an assignment as a Testing Coordinator with a big Insurance company in IL to Washington, DC. I would like to be assigned to the US-VISIT project. I have over 6 years of experience as a QA analyst/Tester. If anybody is on this project, what is the overall atmosphere ? After talking to my HR Rep this morning about salary adjustment, she told me it would depend on the unit and the actual salary for the position. Could you tell me what the salary would be for a QA/TESTER with over 3 years of exp. ?

I'm not on US VISIT, though a number of my friends are as a decent number of the people that were originally on VISIT came from my project. It's an almost (or possibly completely) Services project, so you'd definately have to switch out of Consulting if that's where you are now.
I don't have any direct experience with salary at US Visit though... I'm pretty sure it'd just be whatever Services grade you moved into.
