regarding the next step" it means you passed. If the interviewer says "somebody will follow up with you" or "somebody will be in touch with you", it means you didn't cut it? What is your experience? |

You cant use what the interviewer says to definitely determine whether you "passed or failed". When they say we OR they will be in touch with you, may experiences are that it means "good bye, please leave my office now" or "the interview is over". It could go both ways; you may move on to the next step or be cut.
Do not take people's words too literally.
