I think you were grossly underpaid for being M2 at 87K. I know it is difficult to get a significant raise without leaving the company.
However, I think you should have been able to pull 120-125 Base as Sr. Mgr with a competitior firm. So, no offense, but I think you undersold yourself (again).
I am starting with Accenture soon as M1 for over a little 100. Again, I think I could have got more but I just want to get Accenture in my resume.
Good luck with the new company. I would recommend you still keep looking, I seriously think you should be able to get 125 as based in chicago as a Sr. Mgr.

I have just completed my interview process for a manager position and was wondering if you could provide some help. What group are going to, as well as what industry?
Can you also provide your years of experience/education and how it helped you in getting the salary you were comfortable with.....as well as the region you are out of. I want to be ready for the negotiation portion of the process.
