The mid-20's number applies nationwide. Out of 25 in my class a few years ago, only 8 were given offers, but the start dates were deferred up to 8 months. 6 have since quit, including myself. |

Here are the details I got:
Training is in Austin.
Class size will be 20-25 students.
Client is desperate for programmers, so a job offer will be likely if student passes.
Job pays $25,600/year + benefits.
2 small raises within a year, then possibly promotion.
I don't think it's worth it for me because I would have to quit my current job, and if I am hired, I would also have to take a pay cut. Not to mention relocation.
