i can only speak of the basa account in b'hamand from my own work ethic... when i started with acn i dutifully logged all my time in actual values (some 48-55 hrs per week). at the end of my first month my supervisor comes to me and tells me not to do that again. instead i was to log 8 hours a day and to make sure that my corporate time sheet matched the client time sheet. leadership and bls planning sees the 40 hour week and uses it to budget future projects severely distorting the actual requirements so, as professionals, we end up working "ot" to get the job done. all for the partner bonuses and shareholders... and continuing contracts. i love corporate america! |

Your manager broke the law. You must accurately report the hours that you worked. The only time I've heard that everyone has to report 8 hours (yet they work more) are managers and above as they wouldn't get OT anyway
