Not too long ago they posted an open listing for BW analysts. I have the cert. and some experience w/BW on top of already being an accomplished software engineer, and my recruiter is saying, quote, "Looks like we can secure a position for you", and, "If you want this we can make it happen". That's pretty unambiguous if you ask me. ;)
The trick is that it will be 100% travel. My kids are almost grown and we want to move, anyhow, so that will work OK for me. If you have young children it isn't that attractive.
They list all of their openings on their website. Look for job listing SAP (BW) - Analyst - Location Negotiable ? 00000984.

Thank you for sharing your experiences here.
My only concern is that I have no realtime SAP BW experience. I have a few years of data warehousing/mining experience on legacy systems.Evey posting I see for SAP BW requires atleast 2 years/Lifecycle experience .
Can you please let me know what my stratergy should be in addition to aggressively projecting my skills to the recruiter.
Also can you please let me know how much would the BW roles pay for my kind of experience.
