#1 Fast food workers get paid OT along with their luxurious $5.50 an hour salaries
#2 Noone hid the OT rules, It's on the offer letter.
#3 Peer firms have no OT whatsoever, so working maximum of about 18 hours(not sure how you come up with 10-30) for free is better than peers, who would work all OT for free.
I'm sick of people here complaining about stuff they know about and signed up for. If you hate it, get a new job! The market is pretty decent now. Check your local Burger King....you may be able to live the fantasy of fully paid overtime! |

1.) Totally true
2.) Totally true, if you don't like the policy don't take the job
3.) This argument which I hear quite a bit p*sses me off. Our competitor firms pay about 20% more on average from Manager on down, so this is total lie. I hear our managment trumpet this baloney way too often. I personally recieved an offer from a direct competitor for over 30% more in the SAP space. While employees at other firms work OT with no official OT pay, they are more than compensated in their base pay to make up for it.
