I have read most of the messages on the board about no OT or 20% rule on OT and I think its pretty absurd. If ACN has removed the OT policy, then they shouldn't expect their workers to work more than 45/hours a week if they aren't willing to pay it. Human decency. Even fast food workers get paid OT. As I hear from many, expect to work over 50hrs/week at ACN.
Who here works OT and doesnt get paid it? For such a reputable company, I am surprised and disappointed. For a company to think like that, the corporate culture is based on greed. Its like saying on the outside how great ACN is, but on the inside how crappy the lifes of their empoyees are...
Is this really the case with ACN? AM I truly expected to work almost 10-30 hours for free?

i can only speak of the basa account in b'hamand from my own work ethic... when i started with acn i dutifully logged all my time in actual values (some 48-55 hrs per week). at the end of my first month my supervisor comes to me and tells me not to do that again. instead i was to log 8 hours a day and to make sure that my corporate time sheet matched the client time sheet. leadership and bls planning sees the 40 hour week and uses it to budget future projects severely distorting the actual requirements so, as professionals, we end up working "ot" to get the job done. all for the partner bonuses and shareholders... and continuing contracts. i love corporate america!
