Dude, I just got a FTE offer from Microsoft... so now what? Anyone out there who have left ACN to join Microsoft? |

depending on your role at MS the company cultures are quite different, so it depends what you want
- What is the position they offered you? Is it in product development or in consulting? In product development you can expect things to be very relaxed (but still expect to work hard); every employee gets their own office, there is no set time on when to come and leave; no dress code, etc etc... In that respect the culture is extremely comfortable.
- I completed two internships at Microsoft as an undergrad (in product development) and I personally prefer consulting (mainly because of the constant change)
- One of my managers left ACN for Microsoft and hasn't looked back...
- From what I remember a few years ago MS salaries were significantly higher than almost anyone else...
- obviously the travel aspect - will you need to travel ? do you mind ..?
