I have scheduled the interview this Friday. They promised me that they will make a decision by Friday or Monday - so if I like the shop and opportunity, and they do extend me an offer, I can reject Accenture's offer before I start (on 20th).
If it is a good opportunity, 30-35% more is a lot of money to turn down.
I still don't have the written letter from Accenture in my hands. The recruiter faxed me on Friday, and yes it does have the background contingency and "at will" written in it. It is interesting that I verbally agreed almost a month ago, they set the starting date and still no physical letter (part of the issue was with my non-compete agreement with current employer). Does ACN send letter just 2-3 weeks before start date, even if you agree 6-7 weeks before start date?? |

I got my verbal offer a week and half after my interview. Then got my written offer about 2 days after that. I don??t start until this summer so I got my stuff almost 6 months early.
