How much does this play into their decision? Does that mean that bad credit==no hire? |

Is your credit that bad to where you have something to worry about? If youre concerned b/c of student loans and CC debt from college, then stop worrying. If you actually have legitimate issues (multiple bankruptcies, credit card fraud, mortgage abandonment), then you have reason to worry.
Bascially- By the time you get to the background check, unless you have some very serious issues that you illegally didn't mention on your app (in the part where it says to mention them), then you need to find something else to worry about.
